Ingredients
- 1 cup grated Paraguayan cheese
- 1 cup tapioca flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a large bowl, mix the grated Paraguayan cheese, tapioca flour, milk, melted butter, and sugar until well combined.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
- Pour half of the mixture into the prepared springform pan.
- In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Spread the cream cheese over the batter in the pan.
- Pour the remaining batter over the cream cheese layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
- Allow the chipa cheesecake to cool before removing it from the pan. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
