Ingredients
- 2 ripe plantains
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Peel the plantains and slice them thinly using a mandoline slicer or a sharp knife.
- In a small bowl, mix the salt, paprika, and black pepper.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Once the oil is hot, carefully add the plantain slices in batches and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per batch.
- Remove the chips from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- While still hot, sprinkle the spiced mixture over the chips and toss to coat evenly.
- Allow the chips to cool before serving.
