Chitwan Chilli Chicken

Ingredients

  • 500g chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 3-4 green chilies, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and sauté the onions until golden brown.
  2. Add the ginger-garlic paste and green chilies, and sauté for a few minutes.
  3. Add the chicken pieces and cook until they turn white.
  4. Stir in the cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
  5. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften.
  6. Pour in the soy sauce and cook for another 5-7 minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
