Chole Bhature Sliders
Chole Bhature Sliders are a delicious twist on the classic Indian street food, perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- 1 cup chickpeas, cooked
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, pureed
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- Salt to taste
- 4 slider buns
- Butter for toasting
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute. Then, add the tomato puree and cook until the oil separates.
- Stir in the turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Cook for a few minutes before adding the cooked chickpeas. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Cut the slider buns in half and toast with butter.
- Assemble the sliders by placing a spoonful of the chole mixture on the bottom half of each bun. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and cover with the top half of the bun.
