Ingredients

  • 1 cup chickpeas, cooked
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 slider buns
  • Butter for toasting
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  2. Add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute. Then, add the tomato puree and cook until the oil separates.
  3. Stir in the turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Cook for a few minutes before adding the cooked chickpeas. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Cut the slider buns in half and toast with butter.
  5. Assemble the sliders by placing a spoonful of the chole mixture on the bottom half of each bun. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and cover with the top half of the bun.
