Chole Bhature Wraps
Chole Bhature Wraps are a popular Indian fast food dish that combines spicy chickpea curry with deep-fried bread, all wrapped up for a convenient and delicious meal on the go.
Ingredients
- 2 cups chickpeas, cooked
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 tsp garlic, minced
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- Salt to taste
- 4 bhature or naan bread
- 1/4 cup fresh coriander, chopped
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add ginger, garlic, and tomatoes. Cook until the tomatoes are soft.
- Add coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
- Add the cooked chickpeas and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Warm the bhature or naan bread.
- Place a spoonful of the chickpea curry on the bread, sprinkle with fresh coriander, and wrap it up.
