Chow Mein Sensation

Ingredients

  • 8 oz chow mein noodles
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup cabbage, shredded
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup bean sprouts

Instructions

  1. Boil chow mein noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add onion and garlic, and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add cabbage, carrot, bell pepper, and broccoli, and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and black pepper.
  6. Pour the sauce over the vegetables and stir to combine.
  7. Add the cooked chow mein noodles and bean sprouts to the pan, and toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
  8. Remove from heat and serve hot.
