Ingredients
- 8 oz chow mein noodles
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup cabbage, shredded
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup bean sprouts
Instructions
- Boil chow mein noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add onion and garlic, and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add cabbage, carrot, bell pepper, and broccoli, and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
- In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and black pepper.
- Pour the sauce over the vegetables and stir to combine.
- Add the cooked chow mein noodles and bean sprouts to the pan, and toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
- Remove from heat and serve hot.
