Chuleta Chop Suey (Pork Chop Stir-Fry)

Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and chicken broth. Set aside.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
  4. Add the pork chops and cook until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  5. Lower the heat to medium and add the onion, bell pepper, and garlic to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are slightly softened.
  6. Add the snap peas and cooked pork chops back to the skillet.
  7. Pour the sauce mixture over the pork and vegetables. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the ingredients.
  8. Remove from heat and serve the Pork Chop Stir-Fry hot with steamed rice.
