Chura Gerteh (grilled Beef Suya)

Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup groundnut powder (peanut powder)
- 2 tbsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp ginger powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 4 wooden skewers, soaked in water
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the groundnut powder, cayenne pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, ginger powder, and salt to make the suya spice rub.
- Thread the beef slices onto the soaked wooden skewers.
- Brush the beef skewers with vegetable oil and coat them with the suya spice rub.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and grill the beef skewers for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked to your desired doneness.
- Remove the beef skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
