Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup groundnut powder
  • 2 tablespoons suya spice
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 wooden skewers, soaked in water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix the groundnut powder, suya spice, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and vegetable oil to form a paste.
  3. Cut the chicken breasts into strips and thread them onto the soaked wooden skewers.
  4. Coat the chicken skewers with the spice paste, making sure to cover them evenly.
  5. Grill the chicken skewers for 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are cooked through and have a nice charred exterior.
  6. Remove the chicken skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
