Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup groundnut powder
- 2 tablespoons suya spice
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 4 wooden skewers, soaked in water
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, mix the groundnut powder, suya spice, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and vegetable oil to form a paste.
- Cut the chicken breasts into strips and thread them onto the soaked wooden skewers.
- Coat the chicken skewers with the spice paste, making sure to cover them evenly.
- Grill the chicken skewers for 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are cooked through and have a nice charred exterior.
- Remove the chicken skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
