Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 2 tablespoons loose black tea leaves
- 1/4 cup yak butter
- 1/4 cup churpi (dried yak cheese)
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Boil the water in a pot.
- Add the black tea leaves and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
- Strain the tea into a bowl.
- Transfer the tea back to the pot and add yak butter and churpi.
- Stir until the butter and churpi are fully melted and incorporated into the tea.
- Add salt to taste.
- Pour the Churpi Chai into cups and serve hot.
