Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup churpi (hardened yak cheese), grated
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the grated churpi, sugar, melted butter, and milk until well combined.
  3. Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt into the churpi mixture. Stir until just combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
