Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup churpi (hardened yak cheese), grated
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
- In a large bowl, mix the grated churpi, sugar, melted butter, and milk until well combined.
- Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt into the churpi mixture. Stir until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
