Chuzos De Carne: Colombian Beef Skewers

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs beef sirloin, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 green bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 onion, cut into chunks

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the vegetable oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, cumin, paprika, black pepper, and salt. Add the beef cubes and marinate for at least 1 hour.
  2. Thread the marinated beef, bell peppers, and onion onto skewers.
  3. Heat a grill or stovetop grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the skewers for 3-4 minutes per side, or until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.
  4. Serve the chuzos de carne hot with aji sauce and arepas.
