Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs chicken breast, cut into strips
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Wooden skewers, soaked in water
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine coconut milk, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, cumin, coriander, turmeric, and cayenne pepper. Add the chicken strips and marinate for at least 1 hour.
- Thread the marinated chicken strips onto the soaked wooden skewers.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Cook the skewers for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is cooked through.
