Cilcennin Chicken Satay Skewers

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs chicken breast, cut into strips
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander

  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine coconut milk, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, cumin, coriander, turmeric, and cayenne pepper. Add the chicken strips and marinate for at least 1 hour.
  2. Thread the marinated chicken strips onto the soaked wooden skewers.
