Ingredients
- 1 lb catfish fillets
- 3 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill
Instructions
- Marinate the fish fillets with fish sauce and sugar for 30 minutes.
- In a clay pot or deep skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add garlic and onion, and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the marinated fish fillets to the pot, then pour in the water. Sprinkle turmeric and black pepper over the fish.
