Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 packet instant yeast
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup warm coconut milk
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
- Add the melted butter and warm coconut milk to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes, until it becomes smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Punch down the dough and divide it into 8 equal portions. Shape each portion into a ball and flatten slightly.
- Place the dough rounds on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, cover, and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Bake the coco bread for 15-18 minutes, until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool before serving.
