Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 can (13.5 oz) coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour and 1/2 cup of sugar.
  2. In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the yeast mixture to the flour and sugar, and knead the dough until smooth.
  4. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  5. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces and shape them into rolls.
  7. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish.
  8. In a saucepan, combine the coconut milk, 1/2 cup of sugar, and salt. Heat until the sugar is dissolved.
