Coconut Chutney Delight

Ingredients

  • 1 cup grated coconut
  • 2-3 green chilies
  • 1/2 inch ginger
  • 1/4 cup roasted chana dal
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed

Instructions

  1. Add grated coconut, green chilies, ginger, and roasted chana dal to a blender.
  2. Add yogurt and salt to the blender.
  3. Blend until smooth, adding water as needed to achieve the desired consistency.
  4. Transfer the chutney to a serving bowl.
  5. Temper with mustard seeds, urad dal, curry leaves, and red chilies (optional).
