Ingredients

  • 4 fillets of white fish
  • 1 cup grated coconut
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Clean and pat dry the fish fillets.
  2. In a bowl, mix together grated coconut, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, lemon juice, and salt to make a marinade.
  3. Coat the fish fillets with the marinade and let them sit for 10 minutes.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and fry the fish fillets until they are golden and crispy on both sides.
  5. Remove the fish from the pan and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  6. Serve hot with steamed rice or as an appetizer with your favorite chutney.
