Ingredients
- 2 cups jasmine rice
- 1 3/4 cups coconut milk
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 2 pandan leaves, tied in a knot
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp sugar
Instructions
- Rinse the jasmine rice until the water runs clear, then drain.
- In a pot, combine the coconut milk, water, pandan leaves, garlic, salt, and sugar. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
- Add the rinsed rice to the pot and stir well. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and the liquid is absorbed.
- Fluff the rice with a fork and remove the pandan leaves before serving.
