Ingredients
- 1 pound salted codfish, soaked and flaked
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup milk
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the flaked codfish, flour, parsley, eggs, baking powder, black pepper, and milk until well combined.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium heat.
- Scoop spoonfuls of the codfish mixture and carefully drop them into the hot oil.
- Fry the fritters for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the fritters from the oil and drain them on paper towels.
- Serve the Bunyols de Bacallà hot, with your favorite dipping sauce or aioli.
