Ingredients
- 1 lb salted codfish, soaked and flaked
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the flaked codfish, flour, baking powder, eggs, milk, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium heat.
- Scoop spoonfuls of the codfish mixture and carefully drop them into the hot oil.
- Fry the fritters for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the fritters from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
- Serve the buñuelos de bacalao hot with aioli sauce.
