Ingredients
- 1 lb conch meat, finely chopped
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 bell pepper, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 1 hot pepper, finely chopped
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup water
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the conch meat, all-purpose flour, onion, bell pepper, garlic, green onions, hot pepper, baking powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Gradually add water to the mixture, stirring until well combined and the batter is thick.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium heat.
- Spoon small portions of the batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove the fritter bites from the oil and drain on paper towels.
- Serve the Gigitan Bala-Bala Konk hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
