Conch Fritters With Lime Aioli

Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh conch meat, finely chopped
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 1 bell pepper, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 green onions, finely sliced
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the conch meat, flour, onion, bell pepper, garlic, green onions, baking powder, cayenne pepper, paprika, milk, and eggs. Season with salt and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pot or skillet over medium heat.
- Drop spoonfuls of the conch batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove the fritters from the oil and drain on paper towels.
- Serve the conch fritters hot with lime aioli for dipping.
