Ingredients
- 6 ears of corn, husks and silk removed
- 1 cup of fresh cheese, grated
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1/4 cup of butter
- 1/2 teaspoon of paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon of cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Grate the corn kernels into a large bowl.
- Add the grated cheese, milk, butter, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Take a large spoonful of the mixture and place it in the center of a corn husk. Fold the sides of the husk over the filling to form a package.
- Place the tamales in a large steamer and steam for 1 hour.
- Let the tamales cool for a few minutes before serving.
