Ingredients

  • 500g shortcrust pastry
  • 300g beef, diced
  • 2 potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 100g swede, diced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Beef stock

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Roll out the pastry and cut into 4 circles.
  3. Divide the beef, potatoes, onion, and swede among the pastry circles.
  4. Season with salt and pepper, then add a splash of beef stock to each pasty.
  5. Bring the edges of the pastry together to form a seal and crimp the edges.
  6. Place the pasties on a baking sheet and bake for 1 hour or until golden brown.
