Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Cornish sea salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup Cornish sea salted caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar, cocoa powder, and salt until well combined.
- Stir in the vanilla extract, then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Gradually add the flour and mix until just combined.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. Drizzle the Cornish sea salted caramel sauce over the batter. Pour the remaining batter on top and spread it evenly to cover the caramel.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs, but not wet batter.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares and serving.
