Ingredients
- 2 cups cornmeal
- 1 cup warm water
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cornmeal and salt.
- Add the warm water gradually and knead the mixture into a smooth dough.
- Divide the dough into 6 equal portions and shape them into balls.
- Place a ball of dough between two sheets of plastic wrap and flatten it into a round flatbread using your hands.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and carefully transfer the flatbread onto the pan.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown spots appear.
- Repeat the process with the remaining dough balls.
- Serve the cornmeal flatbread hot with a dollop of butter or ghee.
