Ingredients
- 2 lbs pork ribs
- 1 cup guava paste
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Season the ribs with salt, pepper, and cumin.
- In a saucepan, combine the guava paste, orange juice, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Cook over medium heat until the guava paste is melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Place the seasoned ribs in a roasting pan and brush with the guava glaze.
- Cover the pan with foil and bake for 1.5 hours, basting the ribs with the glaze every 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C). Bake for an additional 30 minutes, or until the ribs are caramelized and tender.
- Serve the ribs hot, brushing with any remaining guava glaze.
