Ingredients

  • 1 cup guava paste

  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Season the ribs with salt and pepper, then place them on a baking sheet.
  3. In a saucepan, combine the guava paste, soy sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and minced garlic. Cook over medium heat until the guava paste is melted and the sauce is smooth.
  4. Brush the guava glaze over the ribs, covering them completely.
  5. Cover the ribs with foil and bake for 1.5 hours.
  6. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes, basting the ribs with the glaze every 10 minutes.
  7. Once the ribs are tender and caramelized, remove them from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
