Ingredients
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup semolina
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
- 1/4 cup ghee (clarified butter)
- 1/4 cup jaggery (or brown sugar)
- 2 cups water
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine cottage cheese, semolina, sugar, and cardamom powder. Mix well to form a smooth dough.
- Divide the dough into small portions and shape them into flat round pancakes.
- Heat ghee in a pan and fry the pancakes until golden brown on both sides. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- In a separate pan, combine jaggery and water. Bring to a boil to make a syrup.
- Add the fried pancakes to the syrup and let them simmer for a few minutes until the pancakes absorb the syrup.
- Remove from heat and let the pancakes cool slightly before serving.
