Ingredients
- 400g cottage cheese, cut into cubes
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, pureed
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, ground coriander, ground cumin, and salt. Add the cottage cheese cubes and marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat butter in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add the tomato puree and cook until the oil separates from the mixture.
- Add the marinated cottage cheese cubes and cook for 5 minutes.
- Pour in the heavy cream and simmer for another 5 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or rice.
