Ingredients

  • 500g crab meat
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 4-5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp red chili powder
  • 1 tbsp tamarind paste
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat ghee in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  2. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, and cook for a few minutes until the raw smell disappears.
  3. Now, add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and tamarind paste. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add the crab meat and salt. Cook for 10-15 minutes on medium heat until the crab is fully cooked and the masala coats the meat.
  5. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
