Crab Masala Fry

Ingredients

  • 500g crab, cleaned and cut into pieces
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 3 tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 green chilies, slit
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 2 tablespoons red chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onions until golden brown.
  2. Add the ginger, garlic, and green chilies. Sauté for a few minutes.
  3. Stir in the tomatoes and cook until they turn soft.
  4. Add the turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt. Cook the masala for a few minutes.
  5. Add the crab pieces and mix well with the masala. Cover and cook for 10-15 minutes until the crab is cooked through.
  6. Sprinkle garam masala and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
