Ingredients
- 1 cup pork cracklings
- 2 cups stale bread, cubed
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, soak the stale bread in milk for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in a large mixing bowl, combine the pork cracklings, eggs, flour, chopped onion, salt, and pepper.
- Squeeze the excess milk from the soaked bread and add the bread to the pork crackling mixture. Mix well.
- Form the mixture into 8 dumplings and place them in a pot of boiling salted water.
- Cook the dumplings for 15-20 minutes until they float to the surface.
- Remove the dumplings with a slotted spoon and serve hot.
