Creamy Chicken Skewers, also known as Chicken Malai Boti, are a popular dish in Pakistani cuisine. Ingredients
- 1 kg boneless chicken, cut into cubes
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1/2 cup cream
- 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp white pepper
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 tbsp oil
- Wooden skewers, soaked in water
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together yogurt, cream, ginger garlic paste, white pepper, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt, and lemon juice to make the marinade.
- Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and mix well to coat the chicken. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Thread the marinated chicken cubes onto the soaked wooden skewers.
- Heat oil in a grill pan or stovetop grill over medium heat. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice char.
- Remove the skewers from the grill and serve hot with naan, rice, or salad.
