Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless chicken, cut into cubes
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tbsp fresh cream
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp ground coriander
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 onion, cut into chunks
- 1 bell pepper, cut into chunks
- Wooden skewers, soaked in water
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix yogurt, fresh cream, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, ground cumin, ground coriander, salt, and lemon juice to make the marinade.
- Add the chicken cubes to the marinade, making sure they are well coated. Marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
- Thread the marinated chicken, onion chunks, and bell pepper chunks onto the soaked wooden skewers.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Place the skewers in the pan and cook for 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has a golden brown color.
- Serve the creamy chicken skewers hot with naan or rice.
