Creamy Corn Soup (Mısır Çorbası)

Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh or frozen corn kernels
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until softened.
  3. Add the corn kernels and vegetable broth to the pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
  4. Using an immersion blender, blend the soup until smooth. Alternatively, transfer the soup to a blender and blend in batches.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream and season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and serve hot. Enjoy your creamy corn soup!
