Creamy Cottage Cheese Skewers (malai Paneer Tikka)

Ingredients

  • 500g cottage cheese, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup hung curd
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp green chili paste
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp chaat masala
  • 1/4 cup fresh cream
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp oil for basting
  • Skewers

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix hung curd, ginger paste, garlic paste, green chili paste, garam masala, black pepper, chaat masala, fresh cream, lemon juice, and salt.
  2. Add the cottage cheese cubes to the marinade and coat them well. Let it marinate for 1 hour.
  3. Thread the marinated cottage cheese cubes onto skewers.
  4. Heat a non-stick pan and brush it with oil. Place the skewers on the pan and cook until the cottage cheese is golden brown on all sides.
  5. Serve hot with mint chutney and onion rings.
