Creamy Spinach and Potato Casserole (Kremová špenátovo-zemiaková zapekaná misa)

Ingredients

  • 1 kg potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 500g fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 200ml heavy cream
  • 150g grated cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Boil the sliced potatoes in salted water for 5 minutes, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a pan, melt the butter and sauté the onion and garlic until softened.
  4. Add the chopped spinach to the pan and cook until wilted.
