Ingredients
- 500g spinach, washed and chopped
- 1kg potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- 200g grated Gouda cheese
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the chopped spinach, minced garlic, and heavy cream. Season with salt and pepper.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish. Pour half of the spinach and cream mixture over the potatoes. Sprinkle half of the grated Gouda cheese on top.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, spinach and cream mixture, and Gouda cheese.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
- Let the gratin rest for 10 minutes before serving.
