Creamy Spinach Paneer (ಪಾಲಕ್ ಪನೀರ್)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chopped spinach
  • 200g paneer, cubed
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat ghee in a pan and add cumin seeds.
  2. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Stir in ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
  4. Pour in the tomato puree and cook until the ghee separates.
  5. Add turmeric, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
  6. Add the chopped spinach and cook until wilted.
  7. Gently stir in the paneer cubes and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  8. Pour in the heavy cream and garam masala. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  9. Adjust the seasoning and serve hot.
