Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken, cut into pieces
- 1 cup walnuts, finely ground
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until softened.
- Add the chicken pieces to the pot and brown on all sides.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Cover and cook for 30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Stir in the ground walnuts and heavy cream, and simmer for an additional 10 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
