  • 1 lb fresh crab meat
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, finely diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp Creole seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying

  4. Remove the crab cakes from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
  5. Serve the crab cakes hot, garnished with additional chopped parsley and a side of remoulade sauce.
