Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup gram flour (besan)
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed
  • Oil for deep frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, gram flour, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin seeds, and salt.
  2. Add water gradually to make a thick batter.
  3. Heat oil in a deep pan.
  4. Take small portions of the batter and gently drop them into the hot oil.
  5. Fry until the bondas turn golden and crispy.
  6. Remove from the oil and drain on a paper towel.
  7. Serve hot with chutney or sauce.
