Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 cup gram flour (besan)
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
- Oil for deep frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, gram flour, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin seeds, and salt.
- Add water gradually to make a thick batter.
- Heat oil in a deep pan.
- Take small portions of the batter and gently drop them into the hot oil.
- Fry until the bondas turn golden and crispy.
- Remove from the oil and drain on a paper towel.
- Serve hot with chutney or sauce.
