Ingredients
- 500g boneless fish fillets
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped bell peppers
- 1/4 cup chopped onions
- 2 green chilies, sliced
- 2 tablespoons tomato ketchup
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 tablespoon oil
- Salt to taste
- Oil for deep frying
Instructions
- Cut the fish fillets into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix all-purpose flour, cornstarch, ginger-garlic paste, soy sauce, red chili powder, black pepper, and salt. Add water to make a smooth batter.
- Heat oil in a deep pan for frying.
- Dip the fish pieces in the batter and deep fry until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels and set aside.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan, add chopped onions, bell peppers, and green chilies. Sauté for a few minutes.
- Add tomato ketchup, vinegar, and a splash of water. Stir well.
- Add the fried fish pieces to the pan and toss to coat them with the sauce.
- Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot.
