Ingredients

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the duck pieces with salt and pepper, then place them on a baking sheet. Roast in the oven for 45-50 minutes until the skin is crispy.
  3. In a saucepan, combine orange juice, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, garlic, and ginger. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  4. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water to create a slurry. Stir the slurry into the saucepan and cook until the sauce thickens.
  5. Once the duck is crispy, transfer it to a serving platter and pour the orange sauce over the duck pieces.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
