Ingredients
- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3-4 dried red chilies, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, julienned
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 cup beef broth
Instructions
- In a bowl, coat the beef slices with cornstarch.
- Heat 2 tbsp of vegetable oil in a wok over high heat. Add the beef and stir-fry until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- Heat the remaining oil in the wok, then add the dried red chilies, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry until fragrant.
- Add the green onions, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, and beef broth. Cook until the sauce thickens.
- Return the crispy beef to the wok and toss to coat with the sauce.
- Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with additional green onions if desired.
