Ingredients
- 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Oil for deep frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the sweet potato cubes, cornstarch, sugar, and salt until the sweet potato cubes are well coated.
- Heat the oil in a deep fryer or heavy-bottomed pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Carefully drop the coated sweet potato cubes into the hot oil and fry until they are golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove the sweet potato balls from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
