Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine gram flour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt.
- Add water gradually to make a smooth batter with a thick consistency.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
- Dip the sliced onions into the batter, making sure they are well coated.
- Carefully drop the coated onions into the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the crispy onion bajjis from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- Serve hot with chutney or sauce of your choice.
