Ingredients
- 1 cup rava (semolina)
- 1/2 cup rice flour
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2-3 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup coriander leaves, chopped
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
- Oil for making dosas
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine rava, rice flour, all-purpose flour, chopped onion, green chilies, grated ginger, chopped coriander leaves, cumin seeds, black pepper, and salt.
- Gradually add water and mix well to form a thin batter. The batter should be of pouring consistency.
- Heat a non-stick tawa or griddle and pour a ladleful of batter from the outer edge towards the center. Drizzle some oil on the edges and cook until the dosa turns crispy and golden brown.
- Flip the dosa and cook for a minute. Remove from the tawa and serve hot with chutney or sambar.
